Michael T. Buonocore, Esq., a resident of Bergen County, NJ, is an associate at Seigel Law and concentrates his practice in the area of personal injury litigation.
Originally a native of Hillsdale, New Jersey, Michael graduated from Susquehanna University with a major in corporate communications. He was a varsity member of the University’s NCAA Football team, which won a divisional championship in 2009. He subsequently attended the University Of Massachusetts School Of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctorate. During law school, Michael was a member of the Student Bar Association, American Bar Association and a contributor to several published articles. He was admitted to practice before the state courts of New Jersey in 2013. Michael is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court, District of New Jersey.
After completing law school, Michael became a judicial clerk for the Honorable Donald R. Venezia J.S.C., in the Criminal and Family Divisions of the Bergen County Superior Court. After finishing his clerkship, Michael went on to work for Ricci, Fava & Bagley, a Plaintiff’s litigation firm in Woodland Park, New Jersey. There he was assigned personal injury and Workers Compensation cases. Subsequently, Michael went on to join Viscomi & Lyons, a defense litigation firm in Morristown, New Jersey. There, Michael gained invaluable experience and litigation skills as he acted as staff counsel for Liberty Mutual on all bodily injury claims. Post Liberty Mutual, Michael was a defense associate at Morgan Melhuish Abrutyn in Livingston, New Jersey working in the malpractice defense department. Currently, Michael is a part of the litigation team at Seigel Law, and concentrates his practice in personal injury litigation; including motor vehicle accidents and premises accidents of all natures. In his first year with Seigel Law, Michael obtained over $1.8 million dollars in recoveries for his clients.
