Christopher Lobozzo is a Partner at Seigel Law. Chris concentrates his practice in personal injury litigation including automotive, premises liability, professional malpractice, sex abuse, bullying and products liability.
Prior to joining Seigel Law, Chris honed his skills at the prestigious law firm, Nagel Rice, where he litigated a diverse array of high-stakes personal injury and complex commercial matters. Working under the direct tutelage of nationally recognized trial attorneys, Chris received a master class in courtroom advocacy, learning to navigate the most challenging legal landscapes with precision and creativity. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in securing significant settlements and favorable jury verdicts, mastering the art of aggressive litigation tactics and innovative case theory.
His experience extends far beyond the pleadings; Chris regularly argues complex motions in court and has invaluable trial experience before juries in high-profile and unique cases. Today, Chris leverages this battle-tested pedigree at Seigel Law, applying the same rigorous preparation, strategic insight, and courtroom tenacity to maximize results for his current clients.
Chris’s path to the courtroom was forged through real-world experience. Prior to his career in the legal field, Chris gained extensive experience in the business world where he held managerial positions at three of the nation’s largest retailers. Eventually, Chris leveraged his expertise in business staffing, finance, and operations to offer private consulting to small businesses. Chris draws from his prior experience in business to offer his clients unique insights and perspective in resolving their matters.
Bringing this pragmatic, results-driven mindset to his second career, Chris earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law as a pioneer of its inaugural weekend program. While balancing his studies, he fought for justice as a student advocate in the Employment Law Clinic and clerked at Stern, Kilcullen and Rufolo on corporate matters. He then cut his teeth at Buttaci, Leardi and Werner, evolving from Summer Associate to Attorney, where he represented healthcare providers against insurance giants, navigating the labyrinth of reimbursement disputes and fraud investigations.
Outside of the courtroom, Chris is dedicated to family, faith and physical discipline. He is a devoted husband to his wife, Jessica, and a proud father to their daughter, Elowyn. A firm believer in cultivating strength of both body and spirit, Chris is an avid weightlifter, and a practitioner of Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. Chris is also a pillar of his spiritual community. For the past two years, he has served as a leader in the Catholic Diocese of Newark and Paterson, coordinating the largest Exodus 90 fraternity, a role that reflects his deep commitment to self-improvement and servant leadership.
